AR.DEN HILLS PLANNING COMMISSION — MAY 7, 2008 3 <br />9. The District shall provide signage at the site to identify appropriate parking and field <br />access. The signage shall be subject to the City Planner approval prior to installation. <br />10. The District shad add a hood on the backstop to avoid foul balls. <br />11. If foul balls are a problem after construction is completed, the District shall work with <br />the City and the neighbors to find appropriate solutions. The District shall implement <br />the solutions as determined by the City. <br />12. The demountable outfield fence shall be stored near the home bleachers at the football <br />stadium. <br />13. The mound and home plate area shall have a tarp on during times the field is not in <br />use. <br />14. The District shall repair and vandalism that occurs immediately upon notification. <br />15. The dugouts shall be patrolled by security on home football game nights. <br />Chair Larson inquired if lighting could be requested in the future. Ms. Beekman stated <br />that it could, but it would require an amendment to the Conditional Use Permit. <br />Chair Larson inquired if it was tied to accepting the conditional use permit. Ms. <br />Beekman stated that if an amendment was granted for the lighting, it would be required to <br />meet the zoning code requirements. <br />Chair Larson opened the floor to Commission questions. <br />Commissioner Holewa noted a typo in condition fourteen that should be changed from <br />"and" to "any." <br />Chair Larson opened the public hearing at 6:43 p.m. <br />Chair Larson invited anyone for or against the application to come forward and make <br />comment. <br />Jim Hanton, 3947 Rolling Hills Load, stated that the school staff has been working well <br />to respond to the issues raised by the neighbors. He stated there is a possibility of a <br />scoreboard being erected in the future and thinks the neighbors concerns regarding that <br />will be heard by the school. He stated that the neighbors don't want to see a POD on the <br />property near their houses for storage. <br />Chair Larson inquired if Mr. Hanton thinks the neighbors are in consensus with his <br />feelings about the school's efforts. Mr. Hanton stated that he thinks the neighbors are <br />responding happily. <br />
