R.equired. <br /> (a) All construction or work for which a permit is required <br /> shall be subject to inspection by the appropriate inspector in <br /> the manner and at the stages specified for each such <br /> I inspector in the applicable code made a part of and <br /> incorporated in the state building code. Certain typea of <br /> construction shall have continuous inspection as apecified in <br /> section 6-118. <br /> (b) A survey of the lot may be required by the building <br /> inspector to verify compliance of the structure or building <br /> . with approved plans and specifications. Inspection record card. <br /> Work requiring a building permit shall not be cornmenced <br /> until the permittee or his agent shall have posted an <br /> inspection record card in a conspicuous place on the front of <br /> the premises and in such position as to allow the building <br /> inspector and other inspectors conveniently to make the <br /> required entries thereon regarding inapection of the work. <br /> This card shall be maintained in such position by the <br /> permittee until the certificate of occupancy has been issued. <br /> (Ord. Approvals required. <br /> No work shall be done on any part of the building or <br /> structure beyond the point indicated in each successive <br /> inspection without first obtaining the written approval of <br /> the building inspector or other inspector under whose <br /> jurisdiction the work ia being performed.
