Required inspections. <br /> The building inspector, upon notification from the <br /> permittee or his agent, shall make the following inspectiona <br /> and shall either approve that portion of the construction as <br /> completed or shall notify the permittee or his agent wherein <br /> the same fails to comply with this chapter, other applicable <br /> provisions of this Code, and any other applicable laws and <br /> rules and regulations: <br /> (a) Foundation: To be made after trenches are egcavated <br /> and forms are erected and when all materials for the <br /> foundation are delivered on the job. Where concrete <br /> from a central mixing plant (commonly termed <br /> "transit miged") is to be used, materials need not be <br /> ~ on the job. <br /> (b) Frame: To be made after the roof, all framing, <br /> fire-blocking, and bracing are in place and all pipes, <br /> chimneys and vents are complete. <br /> (c) Lath and/or wallboard: To be made after all lathing <br /> ' and/or wallboard, interior and egterior, is in place; <br /> but before any plaster ia applied or before wallboard <br /> joints and fasteners are taped and finished; provided, <br /> , however, that this inspection may be omitted for <br /> buildinga of Occupancy Groupa I and J. Other inspections. <br /> (a) In addition to the called inapectiona specified above, <br /> the building inapector may make or require any other <br /> inspections of any construction work to ascertain compli- <br /> ance with the provisions of this chapter, the provisions of <br /> any other applicable ordinancea of the city, and any other <br /> laws and rules and regulations.
