Licensing requirements for electrical wir- <br /> ing. <br /> (a) No peraon shall construct, enlarge, alter, repair, <br /> remove, convert, install, wire or rewire any electrical <br /> equipment, apparatus, light, heat, fixture, or device unless <br /> he is licensed by the state board of electricity as a Class A <br /> Master Electrician or as a Class A Journeyman Electrician, <br /> or, unless he is under the direct on-the-job supervision of <br /> one so licensed, except the owner of a single-family dwelling <br /> residing or planning to reside in such dwelling may inatall <br /> the wiring in such dwelling without a license. <br /> (b) No peraon shall order, direct or instruct a person who <br /> is not properly licenaed by the state board of electricity to <br /> perform electrica] work that requires a license, unlesa such <br /> person so ordering, directing or instructing is properly <br /> licensed by the state board of electricity to perform the work <br /> himself. Revocation. <br /> ' The city council shall have the power to suspend or revoke <br /> ~ any license granted under the provisions of this article if <br /> work performed by the licenaee or under the licenae of a <br /> licensee is found to be improper, defective, or so unsafe as to <br /> jeopardize life or property. The council shall give twenty <br /> (20) days notice to the licenaee of intent to suspend or revoke <br /> the license, and sha11 give the licensee an opportunity to be <br /> heard before such revocation or cancellation. All notices <br /> hereunder shall be sent to the address of the licensee as <br /> shown by the city recorda, and the license may be suapended <br /> or revoked five (5) days after the date of the hearing <br /> provided.
