<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> § 6-146 ARDEN HILLS CODE <br /> <br /> Sec. 6-146. Homeowners. <br /> Licenses required by the provisions of this article shall <br /> not be required where the subject work is to be performed on <br /> a private residence by the resident or the homeowner. (Ord. <br /> No. 94, § 6, 6-27-66) <br /> <br /> Sec. 6-147. Application, investigation. <br /> Applications for licenses required by the provisions of this <br /> article shall be submitted to the clerk-administrator on <br /> forms provided by the clerk. Such forms shall require <br /> information from the applicant as to the education, apecial <br /> training, and experience of the applicant in the performance <br /> of the work for which a license is requested. At the <br /> discretion of the clerk-administrator any application may be <br /> referred to the building inspector or other appropriste <br /> inspector for investigation and report as to the apparent <br /> qualifications of the applicant. All aPPlicants must agree to <br /> perform all licensed work in accordance with the lawa of the <br /> state, provisions of this Code and city ordinancea. (Ord. No. <br /> 94, § 4, 6-27-66) <br /> Sec. 6-1 <br /> 48. Bond required. <br /> No license granted under the provisions of this article <br /> shall become effective until the licensee shall have filed with <br /> the clerk-administrator a surety bond in the penal sum of <br /> five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), naming the city as obligee <br /> thereon, and conditioned that the city shall be saved <br /> harmless and indemnified against any loss or damage by <br /> reason of improper or inadequate work performed by the <br /> licensee. In lieu of said bond the licensee may file a <br /> memorandum of public liability and property damage <br /> insurance-))in the amount of at least twenty-five thousand <br /> dollars ($25,000.00) for each injury, one hundred thousand <br /> dollars ($100,000.00) for all injuries, and twenty-five <br /> thousand dollars ($25,000.00) property damage coverage for <br /> accidents resulting from work performed by the licensee in <br /> the city. Said policiea ahall contain a provision that they <br /> will not be cancelled during the term of the license without <br /> 336 <br /> <br /> ~ <br />
