The application of the above penalty shall not be held to <br /> prevent the enforced removal or abatement of prohibited condi- <br /> tions. (Ord. No. 229, § 9, 10-11-83) <br /> Sec. 9-35. New materials, processes or occupancies which <br /> may require permits. <br /> The building inspector, zoning administrator, and the fire chief <br /> shall act as a committee to determine and specify, after giving <br /> affected persons an opportunity tb be heard, any new materials, <br /> prceesses or occupancies, which shall require permits, in addition <br /> to those now enumerated in the fire code. The fire chief sha1T post <br /> a list of such new materials, prceesses or occupancies in a con- <br /> spicuous place in his office and in the city hall and shall distrib- <br /> ute copies thereof to interested persons. Establishment of permit fees. <br /> <br /> The city couhcil may from time to time establish by resolution <br /> permit fees for various permits required under the fire code, or by <br /> the committee constituted by the previous section hereof, which <br /> fees shall be uniformly and consistently applied to permittees. <br /> (Ord. Appeals. <br /> <br /> Whenever the fire chief shall tiisapprove an application or <br /> refuse to grant a permit applied for, or when it is claimed that <br /> " the provisiona of the fire code or this article do not apply or that <br /> the true intent and meaning of the fire code or this ordinance <br /> have been misconstrued or wrongly interpreted, the applicant <br /> may appeal from the decision of the fire chief to the city council <br /> within thirty (30) days from the date of the decision appealed. <br /> , (Ord.
