<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> MAS$AGE, RAP AND SAUNA PARLOI2S § 13.5-7 <br /> <br /> Sec. 13.5-7. Licensing prohibited. <br /> (a) Businesa Licenae. No business license for the operation <br /> of a sauna, rap or massage parlor shall be iasued to an <br /> applicant where any [one] of the following circumstances, <br /> which are readily ascertainable by the clerk-administrator, <br /> egists: <br /> (1) 2oning district. The premisea at or on which the <br /> sauna, rap or massage parlor is to be operated is <br /> located in a zoning district within the city other than <br /> R-B or G-B. <br /> (2) ISistance from other similar establishments. The prem- <br /> ises at or on which the sauna, rap or massage parlor <br /> is to be operated are located within five hundred (500) <br /> feet of another sauna, rap or massage parlor. <br /> (3) Distance from residential zoning district, etc. The <br /> premises at or on which the sauna, rap or massage <br /> parlor ia to be operated are located within five <br /> hundred (500) feet of any residential zoning district, a <br /> church, a nursery, an elementary school, a junior high <br /> school, a high school, or any establishment frequented <br /> by juveniles. <br /> (4) Denial or revocation of similar license. Within five (5) <br /> yeara prior to the date of application, the applicant <br /> has had a similar license denied or revoked. <br /> (b) Personal Service Licenses. No personal service licenae <br /> shall be issued to a masaeuse or masseur in the event ahe or <br /> he is under the age of eighteen (18) years or is an alien. <br /> (c) Clerk-Administrator's Denial of Application. In the <br /> event the clerk-administrator has determined that the <br /> applicant is not entitled to a license by virtue of the <br /> foregoing subsectiona of this section, then he ahall promptly <br /> after making such determination notify the applicant in <br /> writing that the application has been denied, specifying the <br /> reasons for the denial. <br /> <br /> 3upp. No. 2 783 <br />
