<br /> 4 <br /> <br /> <br /> MOBILE HOMES § 14-19 <br /> <br /> ARTICLE II. MOBILE HOME COURTS <br /> <br /> DIVISION 1. GENERALLY <br /> <br /> <br /> Sec. 14-17. Intent and purpose. <br /> The intent and purpose of this article is to assure quality <br /> development equal to that found in other types of residential <br /> areas throughout the city. Excellence of design, development <br /> and maintenance of mobile homes and mobile home courts <br /> is the desired objective. The council has the authority to <br /> vary any of the requirements of this article, provided it acts <br /> within the intent of the variance provisions as established <br /> in the city zoning ordinance, as amended. (Ord. No. 147, § <br /> 2.0, 8-30-71) <br /> Sec. 14-18. Occupied by owner. <br /> It is the purpose of this chapter to restrict occupancy of <br /> mobile homes to the owners of such mobile homes, on the <br /> basis that owner-occupancy is more likely to result in a <br /> well-maintained mobile home. Accordingly, all mobile <br /> homes in this city shall be owner-occupied and no mobile <br /> home may be inhabited by more than one family. <br /> Unoccupied mobile homes must be removed from the court <br /> within ninety (90) days after they become unoccupied. Application of building code. <br /> All structures in a mobile home court, other than the <br /> mobile home, shall require a building permit. It is not the <br /> intent of this article to repeal or abrogate any part of the <br /> city building code. The provisions of this article ahall be <br /> enforced in addition to and in conjunction with the <br /> provisions of the building code. (Ozd.
