r <br /> <br /> I <br /> <br /> <br /> , MOTOR VEHICLES § 15-33 <br /> pursuant to the provisions of the zoning ordinance, as <br /> amended. (Ord. No. 132, § 4, 5-11-70) <br /> <br /> Sea 15-33. Operating regulations. <br /> The following regulations are hereby established, in the <br /> public interest, to govern the operation of automobile service <br /> stations licensed hereunder: <br /> (a) Used oil cans, discarded auto parts, discarded tirea <br /> and similar items of debris shall not be stored on <br /> service station premises, unless such items of debris <br /> are located in an enclosure and are completely outside <br /> of public view. Such debris shall be removed from the <br /> premises at least once each week. <br /> (b) No materials shall be burned on the premises of a <br /> service station. <br /> (c) Tires for sale shall not be stored or displayed outside <br /> the service atation structure, egcept (1) in a display <br /> rack during busineas hours, or (2) in a permanent <br /> outside display container located in conformance with <br /> the setback requirements of the zoning ordinance and <br /> completely encloseable. Such display container shall <br /> be closed when the atation is not open for business. <br /> (d) Service stations ahall be fenced at the sides and the <br /> rear by a fence or compact evergreen hedge not less <br /> than fifty (50) per cent opaque and not less than sig <br /> (6) feet high, but the fence shall egtend at the sides <br /> only to the front setback line as established by <br /> ordinance. <br /> (e) Banners, flags, (other than flags of the United States <br /> of America and the State of Minnesota) pennanta, and <br /> similar promotional diaplay devices may be permitted <br /> for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days, if so <br /> provided for in the permit. <br /> (f) The entire service station site other than that part <br /> devoted to landscaping and structurea ahall be <br /> surfaced with concrete or bituminqus surfacing to <br /> control dust and provide adequate drainage and such <br /> 879 <br />
