<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> PERSONNEL POLICY FOR CITY EMPLOYEES § 19-11 <br /> ' and an action plan for correction or improvement, including the <br /> establishment of future performance objectives. <br /> <br /> (b) A personal interview between the immediate supervisor and <br /> the employee shall be conducted by the supervisor within a rea- <br /> sonable time period after receipt by the employee of the supervi- ' <br /> sor's written evaluation. A copy of the written evaluation for each <br /> regular and probationary employee shall be submitted to the clerk <br /> administrator for review and shall be filed in each employee's _ <br /> personnel file. An overall evaluation of satisfactory performance <br /> will be required prior to the granting of any salary increase. (Ord. <br /> No. 275, 1-2-91) <br /> I Sec. 19-11. Service credit. <br /> (a) Service credit is credit given a city employee for employ- <br /> ment by the city as a regular fulltime or regular parttime em- <br /> ployee commencing with the date of original employment. This <br /> includes a probationary period, if any, before employment. <br /> (b) Employees must earn six (6) months' (one hundred eighty <br /> (180) days) service credit before they are eligible for any benefits <br /> hereunder except holiday pay. Six (6) month's service credit is one <br /> thousand forty (1,040) hours of total employment. No more than <br /> one (1) year's service credit shall be given an employee for each <br /> year of their employment even though more than two thousand <br /> ' eighty (2,080) hours are worked during any one (1) year. A tem- <br /> porary employee transferred to a regular position will be given <br /> service credit for continuous service prior to such transfer. <br /> (c) A regular parttime employee will receive service credit by <br /> converting their parttime employment to equivalent adjusted full- <br /> time service. In the event such employee has been employed for a <br /> full year from the anniversary date marking the commencement <br /> of their employment, their service credit shall be based on such <br /> full year. <br /> I (d) Temporary employees shall not be entitled to paid holidays, <br /> vacations, sick leave or group insurance coverage. <br /> (e) Regular parttime employees shall be entitled to paid holi- <br /> days, sick leave and vacations computed by converting their part- <br /> I time employment to eqnivalent adjusted fulltime service.
