Operation on roadway. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a recreational <br /> motor vehicle upon the roadway of any city street except as <br /> permitted in section 26-38 hereof. Permission to operate on private land. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a recreational <br /> motor vehicle upon any privately owned lands without the con- <br /> sent and permission of the owner of such lands, given iri the <br /> manner provided in Section 84-90, Subd. 2, of Minnesota Stat- <br /> utes, as amended, which is incorporated herein by reference and <br /> adopted in section 226-22 of this Code. Crossing streets, highways. <br /> <br /> With respect to direct crossing of a trunk, county state aid, city <br /> or county highway, such erossings may be made provided: <br /> (a) The crossing is made' at an angle of approximately ninety <br /> (90) degrees to the direction of the highway and at a place <br /> where no obstruction prevents a quick and safe crossing; <br /> and <br /> (b) The recreational motor vehicle is brought to a complete <br /> stop before crossing the shoulder or main traveled way of <br /> the highway; and <br /> (c) The driver yields the right-of-way to all oncoming traffic <br /> which constitutes an immediate hazard; and <br /> Supp. No.14 1527 <br />
