Registration. , <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful `for any person to operate a recreational <br /> motor vehicle within the city'unless such recreational motor <br /> vehicle is currently and validly registered with tlie state and its <br /> ' registered number is conspicuously displayed thereon in accord- <br /> ance with state law. (Ord. No. 125, § 3,12-8•69; Ord. No. 246, § 9, <br /> 6-8-87) <br /> Sec. 26-33. Operator's age. ° <br /> It shall be a violation for any person under fourteen (14) years <br /> of age to make a direct crossing of a trunk, county state aid, <br /> village, or county highway as the operator of a recreational motor <br /> vehicle. A persbn fourteen (14) years of age or older, but less than <br /> eighteen (18) years of age; may make a direct crossing of a trunk, <br /> county state aid, or county highway, or city road, only if he has in <br /> his immediate ppssgssion a valid recreational motor vehicle safety <br /> certificate issued b the com issi <br /> y m oner of publie safety. ,(Qrd: Nn. <br /> 125, 3(q), 12-8-69; Ord. N.o. 246, § 9, 6-8-87) , <br /> Sec. 26-34. Permission tp operate on public property. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any pe.rson to operate a recreational <br /> ' motor vehicle upon any lands, except public right-of-ways owned <br /> by the city, countq, state`or school district unless permiasion to do <br /> so is lawfully posted upon such land. Operation within right-of-way. <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person: <br /> (a) To operate a recreational motor vehicle upon the roadway <br /> of any trunk, county state aid, city or county highway, <br /> and, in the case of a divided trunk or county highway; on <br /> that.portion of the: right-of-way which lies between the <br /> opposing lanes of traff'icy.except as provided herein; : <br /> (b) To operate a recreational motor vehicle within the unpaved <br /> portion of the right=of-way of any trunk; county state aid, <br /> city or county highway between the hours of one-half ('Iz) <br /> hour after sunset to one-half (~/i) hour before sunrise, ex- ~ <br /> Supp. No. 14 1526 <br />
