Private wells. <br /> Private wells may be maintained and continued in use <br /> after connection is made to the water system, provided there <br /> is no means of cross-connection between the private well <br /> and municipal supply at any time. Hose bibba or faucets <br /> equipped with hose threads that will enable the cross-con- <br /> nection of the two (2) systema are prohibited on internal <br /> piping of the well supply system. The threads on the drain <br /> or the bibb of the well volume or compression tank shall be <br /> removed or the drain bibb replaced with a sink faucet <br /> without hose threads. Where both private and city systems <br /> are in use outside hose bibbs will not be inatalled on both <br /> systems. (Ord. No. 103, § 1.15, 11-13-67) <br /> Sec. 28-31. Use of water for air conditioning. <br /> All air conditioning syatems which are connected directly <br /> or indirectly with the public water syatem must be equipped <br /> with water conserving and water regulating devices as <br /> approved by the commisaioner. Permits required for air conditioning. <br /> Permits shall be required for the inatallation of all new air <br /> conditioning syatems connected directly or indirectly to the <br /> public water system. Said permit shall be on forms as <br /> provided by the city. (Ord. No. 103, § 1.17, 11-13-67) Sec. 28-33. Connections barred. <br /> <br /> No connection shall be allowed to a building piping <br /> system that contains any connection, figture, or source of <br /> pollution not allowed by the state plumbing code, the St. <br /> Paul Water Department, or regulations of the city of <br /> Roaeville.
