II, D ARDEN HILLS CODE <br /> <br /> Grocery stores, confectionery stores, drugstores, or res- <br /> taurants which offer "take home" food services as an inci- <br /> den~tal part of their business shall not be considered drive-in <br /> businesses. <br /> It is recognized that automobile service stations are <br /> drive-in businesses within the meaning of the foregoing gen- <br /> eral definition, but they are excluded from the definition as <br /> used herein since they are treated and defined separately in <br /> this ordinance. <br /> (37) Dwelling. A building, or pprtion thereof, designed or <br /> used exclusively for human :habitation, and consisting of one <br /> or more dwe]Iing units. <br /> (38) Dwelling, multiple-family. A dwelling containing three <br /> (3) or more attached dwelling units which have access to the <br /> outside through a common hall or point of entry. <br /> ~ <br /> (39) Dwelling, single-family. A dwelling consisting of one <br /> (1) dwelling unit. <br /> (40) Dwelling, two-family. A dwelling consisting of-two (2) <br /> dwelling units. <br /> (41) Dwelling unit. One or more rooms which are arranged <br /> and designed as living quarters for one (1) family equipped <br /> with complete cooking, bathing, toilet, sleeping and heating <br /> facilities, but excluding mobile homes. <br /> (42) Dwelling unit, attached. A dwelling unit which is joined <br /> to one (1) or more other dwelling units. <br /> (43) Dwelling unit, detached. Adwelling unit whieh is not <br /> j oined to any other dwelling unit, and is located on a separate <br /> lot with the structure surrounded by open space and having <br /> a separate point of entry. <br /> (44) Earth-sheltered home. A dwelling constructed so that <br /> fifty (50) per cent, or more, of the exterior surface of the <br /> completed building, exclu.ding garages or other accessory build- <br /> ings, ia covered with or bears against earth. <br /> Supp. No. 4 <br /> 1790 <br />
