Voting required. <br /> Each member of the boards, committeea and commissions <br /> of the city shall be required to vote on matters coming before <br /> the same unless such member shall have a conflict of <br /> interest concerning such matter. <br /> Sec. 2-74. Minimum requirement for action. <br /> <br /> Unless otherwise specifically provided, a majority of the <br /> members of any board, committee or commission present <br /> and voting at any meeting thereof shall be required for any <br /> action or decision of such board, committee or commission. <br /> Secs. 2-75-2-80. R,eserved. <br /> <br /> DIVISION 2. HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION* <br /> <br /> Sec. 2-81. Established. <br /> There is hereby establiahed within the city a human <br /> rights commission. (Ord. Purpose. <br /> <br /> The purpose of the human righta commission is to secure <br /> for all citizens equal opportunity in employment, housing, <br /> public accommodations, public aervices and education and <br /> full participation in the affairs of this community by <br /> assisting the Minnesota Department of Human Rights in <br /> implementing Chapter 363 of the Minneaota Statutes and by <br /> advising the city council on long range programs to improve <br /> community relations in the city. Composition. <br /> The human rights commiasion ahall consiat of ten (10) <br /> regular members to be appointed by the mayor and with the <br /> advice and consent of the council.
