<br /> C. Section B. Repeal of Conflicting Ordinances. All Ordin- <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ances of the City of Arden Hills previously passed, or parts or <br /> provisions thereof conflicting or inconsistent with the provi- <br /> sions of this Ordinance or of the Fire Code hereby adopted, are <br /> hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 9. Penalties. Any person who shall violate any <br /> of the provisions of the Fire Code hereby adopted or fail to <br /> comply therewith, or who shall violate or fail to comply with any <br /> order made thereunder, or who shall build in violation af any <br /> detailed statement of specifications or plans submitted and <br /> approved thereunder, or any certificate or permit issued there- <br /> under, and from which no appeal has been taken, o,r who shall fail , <br /> to comply with such an order as affirmed or modified by the City <br /> Council or by a court of competent jurisdiction, within the time <br /> fixed herein, shall severally for each and every such violation <br /> and noncompliance respectively, be guilty of a misdemeanor, <br /> punishable by a fine not exceeding Five Hundred and no/100 <br /> Dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding <br /> ninety (90) days, or both. The imposition of one penalty for any <br /> violation shall not excuse the violation or permit it to. <br /> continue; and all such pcrsons shall be required to correct or <br /> remedy such violations or defects within a reasonable time; and <br /> when not otherwise specified, each day that prohibited conditions <br /> are maintained shall constitute a separate offense. Tt?e applica- <br /> tion of the above penalty shall not be held to prevent the <br /> enforced removal or abatement of prohibited conditions. <br /> Section 10. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in <br /> full force and effect from and after its passage and publication <br /> according to law. <br /> Pas ed by the City Council of Arden Hills this f/21< day <br /> of 1983. <br /> <br /> .
