• STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS ORDINANCE NO. 106 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDI- NANCE NO. 83, REGARDING PERSON- , • NEL ADMINISTRATION, CHANGING SICK LEAVE PROVISIONS, PERMIT- • TING DISCRETiONARY SICK LEPaVE, • AND AUTHORSZING PAYMENT OF HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS. THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: . Section 1. Amendment of Ordinance Na. P.3, 6'ection 3, Subdivision C(3) of Ordinance No. SS is hereby amepded to read .ie follaws: . , - $ick leave pay will be granted accord- - ing to accumulated earned service cred- - - it, after one year's employment, at the . - rate of one day a month, twelve days a - year, but in no event shakl sick leave be . accumulated beyond a maximum of, 120 . ' days. - Notwithstanding the foregoing, the - - - Council may, in its discretion, grant ad- - ditional sick' leave pay to a Village em- . - ployee in the event the Council finds - that extension of the normal sick leave . , allowance is justified because of hard- - • ship to the employee. In addition to the particular hardship the Council ahall con- - - - sider the length of service of the em- -i, - ployee, and emergency extension of the sick leave-allowance shall not be granted - unleas the employee has been in the em- , - ~ - • ploy of the Village at least one calendar . year whether part-time or full-time.
