<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> I <br /> <br /> ~ 6TATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> COUNTY OF RAM3EY <br /> VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> ORDINANCE NUMSER 69 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDI- <br /> NANCE NUMBEB, 18, THE ZONING <br /> ORDINANCE, TO PROVIDE FOR MUL <br /> TIPLE DWELLING3 <br /> The Village Council of the Village of <br /> Arden Hilla does hereby ordain as fol- <br /> lowa, to-wit : <br /> 3ECTION L <br /> Paragraph (A) of Section 3 of Ordi- <br /> nance Number 18, known as the <br /> Zoning Ordinance, is hereby amend- <br /> ed to read as follows: <br /> (A) In order +o regulate and re- <br /> strict the lceation of tradea, in- <br /> duatries and other uses, and the lo- <br /> cation of buildinga designed, erect- <br /> ed, altered or occupied for specified <br /> pwrposea ; to regulate and limit the <br /> height and size of buildinga here- <br /> . . after erected or altered ; to reSUlate and determine the area of yarda and <br /> other open spaces, and to regulate <br /> and limit the density of Population, <br /> the Village of Arden Hills is here- <br /> by divided into diatriets of whieh <br /> there shall be six, known as R-E, <br /> R-1, R-2 (residential), R-3 (multiple <br /> dwellings)> C (commercial) and I <br /> (industrial). <br /> 3ECTION 2. <br /> Section 4 of Ordiaance Number 18, <br /> known as the Zoning Ordinance, is <br /> hereby amended to add the following <br /> under "Permitted Uses:° <br /> It-3: blultiple Dwellinga <br /> REGULATIONS FOR MULTIPLE <br /> DWELLING DISTR.ICTS <br /> In the multiple dwelling dietrict, <br /> unless otherwise provided in this <br /> ordinanee, no building or land shall <br /> be used and no building shall here- <br /> after be erected or structurally al- <br /> tered except for usea permitted <br /> with reaHect to other reaidential dis- <br /> tricts sa hereinbefore provided, or <br /> except for use as a multiple dwell- <br /> ing, including particularly, but with- <br /> out limitation, double bungalows, <br /> apartments and flats. <br /> In addition to the zoning of the <br /> . . progerty to R-3, no construction of . <br /> such multiple dwellinga shall com- <br /> mence until a building permit there- <br /> for shall be granted by the Council. <br /> Apglieation for swch a permit shall <br /> be made to the Couneil. In consider- <br /> ing such apglication the Council <br /> shall proceed in accordance with the <br /> pmvisions of Section 5 af this Ordi- <br /> nance and may prescribe, as a con- <br /> dition to the issuance of such per- <br /> mit, suitable off etreet parking, <br /> screen planting, and sebbacks in ac- <br /> cordance with the nrovisiona of <br /> Section 5 hereof, or such other con- <br /> ditions as the Council may deem <br /> prnper in accordanee with general <br /> purposea of this Zoning Ordinance. <br /> This Ordinance shall be in effect <br /> from and after its passage and-gub- <br /> lication. <br /> Adopted by the Village Council of <br /> Arden Hills thia 26 day of November, <br /> 1962. <br /> Robert O.
