<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> • <br /> <br /> O UNTYF F RAMSEY <br /> VILLAGE OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> ORDINANCE NUMBER 69 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDI- , <br /> NANCE NUMBEA 18, THE ZONING <br /> ORDINANCE, TO PROVIDE FOR MUIP <br /> TIPLE DWELLINGS <br /> The Village Council of the Village of <br /> Arden Iiills does hereby ordain as fol- <br /> lows, to-wit : <br /> $ECTION 1. <br /> Paragraph (A) of Section 3 of Ordi- <br /> nance Number 18, known as the <br /> Zoning Ordinance, ia hereby amend- <br /> ed to read as followa: <br /> (A) In order to regulate and re- <br /> strict the location of tradea, in- <br /> dustries and other usea, and the lo- <br /> cation of buildings designed, erect- <br /> ed, altered or occupied for sPecified <br /> pwrposes ; to regulate and limit the <br /> height and size of buildings here- <br /> after erected or altered; to regulate <br /> and determine the area of 9ards and <br /> other open sPacea, and to regulate <br /> and limit the denaity of population, <br /> the Village of Arden Hilis ie here- <br /> by divided into districts of which <br /> there shall be six, known as R-E, <br /> R-1, R-2 (residential), R-3 (multiple <br /> dwellings), C (commercial) and I <br /> (industrial). <br /> SECTION 2. <br /> Section 4 of Ordinance Number 18, <br /> known as the Zoning Ordinance, is <br /> hereby amended to add the following <br /> under "Permittec} Usea <br /> 1?-3: Multiple Dwellinga <br /> REGULATIONS FOR MULTIPLE <br /> DWELLING DISTRICTS <br /> In the multiple dwelling district, <br /> unless otherwise provided in thie <br /> ordinance, no building or land shall <br /> be used and no building shall here- <br /> after be erected or structurally al- <br /> tered except for usea permitted with resPect to other reaidential dis- <br /> tricta as hereinbefore provided, or <br /> esceBt for use as a multiple dwell- <br /> ing, including particularly, but with- <br /> out ]imitation, double bungalows, <br /> apartments and flats. <br /> In addition to tlhe zoning of the <br /> property to R-3, no construction of <br /> such multiple dwellings shall eom- <br /> mence until a building permit there- <br /> for shall be granted by the CounciL <br /> Application for auch a permit shall <br /> be made to the Couneil. In conaider- <br /> ing such application the Council <br /> shall proceed in accordance with the <br /> provisiona of Section 6 of this Ordi- <br /> ~ nance and may prescribe, as a con- <br /> dition to the issuance of such per- <br /> mit, suitable off atreet parking, <br /> screen planting, and set-backa in ae- <br /> cordance with the provisions of <br /> Section 6 hereof, or such other con- <br /> ditions as the Council may deem <br /> proper in secordance with general <br /> purposes of this Zoning Ordinance. <br /> This Ordinance shall be in effect <br /> from and after its passage and pub- <br /> lication. <br /> ~ Adopted by the Village Council of <br /> Arden Hills this 26 day of November, <br /> 1962. <br /> Robert O.
