<br /> <br /> ~ <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> reduced, until the inspection and reporting require- <br /> ments of Section 6-116(b) hereof have been fulfilled, <br /> and the permittee has pasted with the city (or has <br /> converted the existing letter of credit) a guarantee <br /> or maintenance bond ox letter of credit, approved by <br /> the city attorney as to sufficiency, form and execu- <br /> tion, which guarantees ta the city that said land- <br /> scaping or screening shall be maintained and be free <br /> from disease, defect and death for a period of at <br /> least one (1) year from the date of the cit_y's <br /> approval of said landscaping, the duration of_ said . <br /> bond or letter of credit to be as detez-mined by the <br /> city council. In no event shall the amount of said <br /> , bond or letter of credit be greater than one hundred <br /> percent (100%) of the actual cost of the landscaping <br /> or screening improvement (i.e., labor and materials <br /> incorporated therein) as determined by the landscape <br /> inspector or other inspector under whose jurisdiction <br /> the improvement falls, or their respective deputies." <br /> Section 2. Amendment to Section 6-116(b) of the Arden Hills <br /> Code. Section 6-116(b) of the Arden Hills Code is hereby amended <br /> to read as follows: <br /> "(b) With respect to any screening, landscaping, <br /> planting or other exterior improvements required in <br /> connection with the construction of a principal build- <br /> ing for which a performance bond ar letter of credit <br /> has been filed with the city pursuant to Section 6-694) <br /> hereof, the landscape inspector or other inspector <br /> under whose jurisdiction the improvement falls, or <br /> their respective deputies, shall conduct such inspec- <br /> ' tions and reinspections as ar.e necessary to ascertain <br /> compliance with the particular plans and specifica- <br /> tions therefor, or reQuirements of any other applic- <br /> able ordinances, resolutions, or special use permits <br /> or other permits of the city relating thereto. <br /> Befare said performance band or letter of credit can <br /> be released , a final <br /> inspection by the appropriate inspector, or his <br /> deputy, shall have been made and awritten report <br /> containing his final approval of the zmprovement, <br /> stating the actual cost thereof, and reeammending the <br /> amount of any replacement guarantee or maintenance <br /> bond or letter of credit shall have been submitted to <br /> the clerk-administrator. Nothing herein shall be <br /> deemed to preclude the appropriate inspector from <br /> making interim inspections and reports nor the council <br /> from allowing interim reductions in the amount of said <br /> performance bond or letter of credit if it deems such <br /> reduction to be advisable." <br /> Section 3. Amendment to Section 14-27 of the Arden Hills <br /> Code. Section 14-27 of the Arden Hills Code is hereby amended so <br /> that it is entitled and reads as follows: <br /> "Sec. 14-27. Additions Allowed. <br /> Construction of any addition to a mobile home <br /> located within the city to provide extra floor space <br /> sha11 be allowed provided any such addition either <br /> <br /> - 2 - <br />
