At the time of filing the <br /> application for a icense hereunder, the following <br /> license fee, or a pro-ratecl portion thereof, shall <br /> be paid by the applicant: <br /> (1) Business License. The annual fee for a <br /> usiness license shall be $3,000.00. <br /> <br /> (2) Personal Service I,icenses. The annual <br /> fee for a masseur or masseuse license <br /> shal.l be $100.00. <br /> (3) Refundable. LTpon denial of an applica- <br /> tion fog a license, the City shali <br /> promptly refund to the applicant the <br /> amount paid. No other refunds shall be <br /> made. . <br /> <br /> (el) I.icense Year. Any license issued hereuncler shall <br /> be effective for the calendar year and shall thus expire <br /> on December 31 of each year unless previously revoked. <br /> Section 6. License Renewals. <br /> <br /> (a) Necessity for Application. The licenses required <br /> hereunder are valid for the calendar year only. Accordingly, <br /> app3ication must be made each year for a new license for <br /> the ensuing calendar year. ~ (b) Manner and Type of Applicati.on. A licensee seek- <br /> <br /> ing to renew a business or personal service license <br /> issued hereunder shall make application in the manner and <br /> with the type of application specified in Section 4 rela-. <br /> ting to original applications. • . <br /> <br /> (c) Time of Renewal Applicatione Applications for <br /> a license renewal must be submitted to the Clerk- <br /> Administrator at least sixty (60) days in advance of <br /> . license expiration. <br /> Section 7. Licensing Prohibitede . <br /> <br /> . (a) Business License. No business license for the <br /> operation o a sauna, rap or massage parlor shall be <br /> issued:to an applicant where any of the following circum- <br /> stances, which are readily ascertainable by the Clerk- <br /> Administrator, exists: <br /> (1) Zoning District. The premises at or on <br /> which the sauna, rap or massage parlor <br /> is to be operated is located in a zoning <br /> district within the City other than R-B <br /> or G-B. <br /> (2) Distance_from Other Similar Establishments. <br /> The premises at or on which the sauna, rap <br /> or massage parlor is to be operated are <br /> located within 500 feet of another sauna, <br /> rap or massage parlor. <br /> <br /> (3) Distance from Residential Zoning District, <br /> Etc. The premises at or on which the <br /> . sauna, rap or massage parlor is to be <br /> operated are located within 500 feet of <br /> any residential zoning district, a church, <br /> a nursery, an elementary school, a junior <br /> high school, a high school, or any estab- <br /> lishment frequented by juveniles. <br /> ° 10 - <br />
