All applications for a <br /> . business license, and all information or <br /> documentation accompanying the same, shall <br /> be referred by the Clerk-Administrator to <br /> the police cleparfiment, fire department, <br /> builrling inspector, planning commission, . <br /> health officer and such other committees, <br /> conans.ssions, departments or officers, <br /> consultants and employees of the City <br /> arad any other local, state or.federal- <br /> goeernmental agencies as the Clerk- <br /> Aclministrator sha11 deem necessary for <br /> verification and investigation of the <br /> facts as set forth in the applicatioh. <br /> Each of the departanents, officers, <br /> coaanissions, comnittees, consultants, <br /> employees or agencies to whoin the <br /> application and acco*npanying materials . <br /> have been referred shall make a written <br /> recomnendation to the City Council as <br /> • to whether the license sought should be <br /> issued or denied within forty-five (45) <br /> days of the date of the application. <br /> (2) Personal Service Licenses; Iv!asseurs ancl <br /> Masseuses. All applications for personal <br /> service licenses hereunder, including <br /> information or documentation accompany- <br /> ing the same, shall be reviewed by the <br /> Clerk-Administrator and regerred to and <br /> reviewed by the police department and <br /> such other depaxtments, commissions, coznmittees, officers, consultants, and <br /> employees of the City and such other <br /> governmental agencies as the Clerk- <br /> Administrator shall deem necessary for <br /> the verification and investigatiora of <br /> the facts set forth in the application. <br /> Each of the departments, officers, <br /> commissions, committees, consultants, <br /> employees or agencies tcs whom the . <br /> application and accompanying materials <br /> have been geferxed shall anake awritten <br /> recomanendation to the City Council as <br /> to whether the license sought should be <br /> issued or denied within thirty (30) siays <br /> o9E the date of the application. <br /> (b) ]Cnvestigation Fees. <br /> (1) Business I,icense. At the time of the <br /> filing of the original application for <br /> a business license hereunder, the <br /> applicant shall pay an investigation fee <br /> of $1,500.00. <br /> (2) Personal Service Licenses. At the time <br /> of the filing of the original applica- <br /> tion for a personal service license, the <br /> applicant shall pay an investigation fee <br /> of $100.00. <br /> (3) Non-Refundable. No investigation fee <br /> shall be refunded to the applicant. <br /> - 9 - <br />
