Whether the proposed establislment <br /> . and the premises on which it is to be <br /> operated meet the health, safety, <br /> sanitary and building requirements of. <br /> the City including those requirements <br /> set forth in this Ordinance. <br /> ' (4) Deniala Grounds for Denial. The City Council <br /> may deny an application for the issuance <br /> or renewal ~ .1of a business license on <br /> the basis of a deterinination that the public <br /> health, safety, morals or welfare would be <br /> adversely affected by the proposed establish- <br /> ment taking into account any one or more og <br /> the facts or circumstances set forth in sub- <br /> ssectian (a) (3) hereof and shall deny such <br /> application upora finding any orie ar more of <br /> the following conditions to exis-t: . <br /> a. The applicarat or any one of its otianers; <br /> pattners, directors, stoclcholderso <br /> officers, managers, employees, agents <br /> or interested parties are persons of <br /> bad repute; <br /> b. The applicant or any one of its owners, <br /> . partners, directors,* stockholders, <br /> afficers, managers, employees, agents <br /> or interested parties have been con- <br /> victed for offenses which involve <br /> -moral turpitude or which relate <br /> directly to such person's ability, <br /> capaci.ty or fitness to perfoazn the <br /> duties and discharge the responsibil.i- <br /> . ties of the licensed activity; <br /> c. The applicant or any one of its owners, <br /> partners; darectors, stockholders, <br /> officers, managers, employees, agents <br /> or interested parties has had within five <br /> (5) years lof the date of the applica- <br /> , tion -been denied a license for a similar <br /> activity to the one souqht to be <br /> licensed or had such a license revoleed <br /> or suspended in or by any comanunity or <br /> political subdivision of the State of <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> - 13 - <br />
