Ordinance No. 53, published <br /> February 18, 1960, relating to the oper- ation of the Munieipal Sanitary Sewer <br /> SyRtem, which added Section 11, Rates <br /> and Chargea, to Ordinance No. 49, is <br /> herebv amended in the following respects, <br /> to-wit : <br /> A. The first paragraph of Section 11 <br /> (A) (1) is hereby amended to read <br /> as followa: <br /> In respect to single family dwellings, <br /> governmental buildinga, churches, <br /> . <br /> . and publicschool houses which shall <br /> be eonneeted with the Municipal San- <br /> itary Sewer SYStem, the Village shall <br /> . impose a total charge based on the total of the charges hereinafter <br /> . scheduled for connection to and use of the 'VIunicipal Sewer System, and in addition thereto such annual <br /> charges and annual sewer rental <br /> chargea as may be made against <br /> the Villa•P or the property by the <br /> Cit-, of St. Paul and by the Village <br /> . . of Roseville. <br /> B. (li Section 11 (A) (2), No. 10, is <br /> hereby amended to delete therefrom <br /> paragraph (h) and the following . <br /> Ianguage which apgliea to all of said <br /> No. 10, to-wit: <br /> This charge to be determined for in- <br /> . divideal properties at time of con- <br /> nee*ion to the sewer system, which <br /> charge shall be set by the Village <br /> Council following investigation and . <br /> on the basis of ~ne factors herein- <br /> before set forthin this paragraph. <br /> (2) Said Seetion 11 (A) (2), No. <br /> 10, is further amended to add there- to the following paragrapha: <br /> (h) private schools, rest hames, sem- <br /> inariea and similar institutions. <br /> (i) other industrial or commercial <br /> - ^onnectior.s, or connections of a type . not defined elaewhere. <br /> . . (3) Section 11 (A) (2) is further . amended to add thereto the following <br /> . paragraph in the Supplementary Charge colwmn opPOaite to and ap- . <br /> plying to the connections described <br /> No. 10 as herein amended: <br /> The suFPlementary charge for the - <br /> usages described in No. 10 hereof <br /> shall be determined for individual <br /> properties by the Village Council at <br /> the time of connection to the sewer <br /> system. The charge to be aet shall <br /> be Lased upon the factors herein- <br /> . before referred to, particuarly the <br /> character and probable daily volume <br /> ofthe sewage waste to be discharg- <br /> . . ed. For the purpose of establishing . <br /> the supPlementary charge the Vil- <br /> . . lage Lfigineer shall convert the prob- <br /> . able waste discharge into compar- <br /> able single Yamily residential units, <br /> and on the basia of the number of <br /> persons proposed to be included in <br /> such usageand the probable volwme . <br /> . of the usage, the supplementary <br /> charge shall be eatablished at a rate <br /> of Four pollars ($4.00) per such . dwelling unit as caleulated.
