Ordinance No. 53, publiahed <br /> February 18, 1960, relating to the oper- <br /> ation of the Municipal Sanitary Sewer <br /> Syctem, which added Section 11, Rates and Charges, to Ordinance No. 49, is <br /> herebv amended in the following respecta, <br /> to-wit : A. The first paragraph of Section 11 <br /> (A) (1) is hereby amended to read <br /> as followa: <br /> In respect to single family dwellinga, <br /> governmenta1 buildings, churches <br /> and public school houses which shall <br /> . be connected with the Municipal San- <br /> I itary Sewer System, the Village shall <br /> impose atotal charge based on the total of the charges hereinafter <br /> . scheduled for connection to and use . <br /> - of the Municipal Sewer System, and <br /> in addition thereto such annual . <br /> charges and annual sewer rental <br /> . . charges as may be made against . the Villat;e or, the property by the <br /> Cit , of St. Paul and by the Village <br /> of Roseville. <br /> B. (1) Section 11 (A) (2), No. 10, is <br /> . hereby amended to delete therefrom <br /> paragraph (h) and the following , <br /> ]anguage which apPlies to all of said <br /> No. 10, to-wit : <br /> . This charge to be determined for in- . . <br /> . dividcal properties at time of con- <br /> neetion to the sewer system, which <br /> . rharge shall be set by the Village <br /> Council following investigation and on the basis of ~ne factors harein- <br /> before set forth in this paragraph. <br /> (2) Said Section 11 (A) (2), No. <br /> 10, is further amended to add there- <br /> - to the following paragraphs: (h) private schools, rest homes, aem- <br /> inariea an$ similar institutions. (i) other industrial or commercisl <br /> ~-onnectior.s, or connections of a type . not defined elsewhere. . (3) Section 11 (A) (2) is further <br /> amended to add thereto the following <br /> paragraph in the Supplementary <br /> Charae calwmn opposite to and ap- . <br /> plying to the connections described <br /> in No. 10 as herein amended:. . The suFPlementary charge for the <br /> usages described in No.lO hereof . <br /> ehall be determined for individual <br /> proAerties by the Village Council at <br /> . the time of connection to the sewer . <br /> system. The charge to be set shall <br /> be Lased upon the factora herein- before xeferred to, particuarly the <br /> character and probable daily volume of the sewage waste to be discharg- <br /> . . ed. For the Purpose of establishing . <br /> . . the supplementary charge the Vil- . . <br /> lage Engineer shall eonvert the prob- <br /> able waste discharge into compar- . <br /> able single family reaidential units, <br /> and on the basia of the number of <br /> persons proposed to be included in <br /> . such usage and the probable volwme <br /> ' of the usage, the supplementary <br /> charge shall be eatabiished at a rate . <br /> - of Four pollars ($4.00) per such <br /> dwelling unit as caleulated.
