Advertising Signs: A billbaard, sign, or other communicative device <br /> which directs attention to a business, product, or service not ex- <br /> clusively related to the premise upon which the sign is located. <br /> <br /> b. Area Identification Sign: A freestanding sign located on the iden- <br /> tified premises which identifies the name of a residential subdivision <br /> consisting of thirty (30) or more lots; a multiple residential complex <br /> consisting of three (3) or more principal structures; an office. <br /> business or industrial structure containing two (2) or more independent <br /> concerns; a single business and/ar industrial complex consisting of <br /> three (3) or more separate structures existing on individual platted. <br /> lots or as a planned unit development; ar any integrated combination <br /> of the above. - , <br /> <br /> c. Business Sign: A sign which identifies a business or profession con- <br /> ducted or promotes a product or service offered or sold upon the premise <br /> where the sign is located. Construction Sign: A temporary sign placed at a construction site <br /> identifying the project, name of the architect, engineer, contractor, <br /> financier or other.involved parties. <br /> <br /> e. Directiona] Sign: Incidental signs designed to guide or direct <br /> pedestrians or vehicular traffic on the premises upon which the <br /> sign is located. Such sign may include the identification of the business, industry, institution, or residential complex to <br /> which it applies, but shall not include advertising copy. <br /> <br /> f. Garaqe Sale Sign: A temporary sign advertising a garage sale <br /> , or rummage sale occuring on t•he premises upon which the sign <br /> is located. <br /> <br /> g. Informational Sign: A sign giving information to employees, <br /> visitors or delivery vehicles on the premises upon which the <br /> sign is located. Such sign may include the identification of <br /> the business, industry, institution, or residential complex <br /> to which it applies, but shall not include advertising copy. <br /> <br /> h. Institutional Sign: A sign which identifies the name and other charac-. <br /> teristics of a public or semi-public institutian on the site where <br /> the sign is located. <br /> <br /> i.
