I Itm, -.--ARPEN HILLS MEMORANDUM DATE: July 2, 2008 PC Agenda Item S.A TO: Planning Commission FROM: Meagan Beekman, Planner 1 SUBJECT: City Council Planning Case Update The City Council did not review any Planning related cases at their June 9, 2008, meeting. g The City Council met on June 23, 2008 at a work session to review the TCAAP work Plan and Schedule and to discuss the residential component of the development. The City Council reviewed the following Planning related cases at their June 30 2008 meeting. g At the time of this publication, the Council meeting had not yet occurred and the outcome of the planning related cases was unknown. PC# 08-017 Zoninp, Code Amendment — Ground Mounted Structures for Antenna Equipment At their June 4, 2008, meeting the Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the zoning code changes regarding cellular antenna equipment located at City water tower sites. Other Planning Related Updates The B-2 Steering Committee continues to meet regularly. Their last meeting was on Wednesday, June 25t'. Topics at the meetings so far have covered visioning for the area existing conditions, traffic conditions, a market study, land use, and urban design. Presentations and minutes from previous meetings, as well as schedules for future meetings are available on the City's website and, as always, the meetings are open to the public. The Old City Hall site discussion will be going before the City Council at their work session in August. At that meeting they will be reviewing and commenting on a draft RPP that will then be shared at a public meeting at a later date. Specific dates have not yet been decided.
