<br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />Approved: July 14, 2008 <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 23, 2008 <br />6:00 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Stan Harpstead called to order the City <br />Council Work Session meeting at 6:03 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Stan Harpstead; Council Members Fran Holmes and David <br />McClung. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmembers David Grant and Brenda Holden (Excused). <br /> <br />Also present: City Administrator Ronald J. Moorse; Assistant City Administrator Noah <br />Simon; Public Works Director Gregory Hoag; Michelle Olson, Parks and Recreation <br />Manager and Public Works Superintendent Jim Perron. <br /> <br />1. APPROVAL OF SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a motion <br />to approve the Special City Council meeting agenda as presented. The motion <br />carried unanimously (3-0). <br /> <br />2. AGENDA ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Jim Perron Retirement Proclamation <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead read in full a proclamation recognizing Public Warks Superintendent Jim <br />Perron for his 19 years of service to the City of Arden Hills acknowledging his upcoming <br />retirement. <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead expressed the Council's, residents' and staffs appreciation to Mr. Perron for <br />his dedication to the City of Arden Hills. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember McClung moved and Councilmember Holmes seconded a motion <br />to approve the Proclamation of Recognition for Public Works Maintenance <br />Superintendent Jim Perron. The motion carried unanimously (3-0). <br /> <br />B. Authorization of Funds for Storm Cleanup <br />
