<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - June 30, 2008 <br /> <br />33 <br /> <br />of the Resolution before the semicolon to include: with the further addition of a <br />right exit from north Trunk Highway 10 to eastbound County Road 96; and the <br />addition of a sixth Whereas to the Resolution that reads: Whereas, due to the <br />substantial cost to be saved by the State of Minnesota by Trunk Highway 1 0 <br />reducing the traffic volume impacts on the Interstate 694 and Interstate 35W <br />interchange, the City requires the State or Mn/DOT to initiate and support noise <br />abatement funding in areas designated by the City on Trunk Highway 10. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden verified that there would be no complications with the <br />retaining walls if the City added sound walls. <br /> <br />Mr. Benson stated that the retaining walls could be integrated into the sound walls. <br /> <br />The Council voted on the resolution as amended. The motion carried (3-2 - <br />Councilmember Grant and Councilmember McClung). <br /> <br />9. COUNCIL COMMENTS AND REQUESTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden asked when the Council would be talking about the <br />Community Survey. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant stated that there were several light poles on County Road E <br />that were in need of repair and asked that Staff check into these. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant asked if there was an update on the Black Bear Software. <br /> <br />Finance Director Iverson stated that the software had been paid for on January 11, <br />2008 but that it had not been received yet. <br /> <br />City Administrator Moorse stated that the current plan was the software would be <br />received in August and that this is a firm date as the company has training sessions <br />scheduled. <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead stated the City should follow up with a letter stating that if the <br />software is not received by August they would like to be reimbursed. <br /> <br />City Administrator Moorse stated that he would follow up with this. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant stated that he had previously asked for documentation <br />from Ramsey County showing the sources of funding they have for Highway 1 0 <br />and County Road 96 and he has not seen that information yet. <br />
