Motion to Approve an Agreement with Ramsey County for <br />Construction and Maintenance of Trails in Tony Schmidt Regional <br />Park and Perry Park <br />D. Motion to Approve Resolution No. 2008-034: Resolution Accepting a <br />Local Connection Grant Award [rom the Minnesota Department of <br />Natural Resources for the Perry Park Regional Trail Connection <br />E. Motion to Approve Resolution No. 2008-035: Resolution Approving <br />an Agency Agreement Authorizing the Delegated Contract Process for <br />Federal Aid Projects <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Grant moved and Councilmember Holden <br />seconded a motion to approve the Consent Calendar as amended and to <br />authorize execution of all necessary documents contained therein. The <br />motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />5. PULLED CONSENT ITEMS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />7. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Motion to Approve Resolution No. 2008-036: Resolution <br />Approvin2 the Rice Creek North Re2ional Trail Wildlife Corridor <br />Habitat Restoration Plan <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Manager Michelle Olson provided the background on the <br />Rice Creek North Regional Trail Corridor Master Plan. She also stated that the <br />Ramsey County Parks and Recreation prepared the Rice Creek North Regional Trail <br />Wildlife Habitat Restoration Plan with the intent to guide future restoration efforts <br />with the thought that as the City's developer is working on the larger site, there may <br />be opportunities to implement elements of this plan as remediation and mitigation <br />efforts are underway. <br /> <br />Mr. John Moriarty, representing Ramsey County Parks and Recreation, addressed <br />the two questions that the City's developer had regarding the plan.
