<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - August] 1, 2008 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />City Administrator Ronald Moorse stated the next conference call with the Army <br />and GSA will be Tuesday, August 19, 2008. He also stated that the County Road <br />H/I35W Interchange project is moving forward and a meeting was held with <br />Mn/DOT, Ramsey County, and RRLD to prepare to move forward with the next <br />stage of the design. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden asked for clarification on what was meant by moving <br />forward. <br /> <br />City Administrator Moorse stated that the plan had been stalled but IS now <br />proceeding through the process. <br /> <br />Councilmember McClung asked for clarification regarding where in the process <br />the project was stalled and where the project is starting at now. <br /> <br />City Administrator Moorse stated that they are moving to the preliminary design <br />stage. There has been some work in this area but the preliminary design process is <br />where the project is starting from. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden asked for clalification regarding who was moving to <br />preliminary design. <br /> <br />City Administrator Moorse stated that it is the City's project but the engineering <br />is being done through Ryan Companies. The City is working with Ryan Companies <br />and the County. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden requested that the preliminary outline for County Road H <br />be put on the City website. <br /> <br />City Administrator Moorse stated that this would be done. <br /> <br />B. Consolidated Dispatch System Update <br /> <br />City Administrator Moorse stated on Monday, August 4, at the meeting of <br />Ramsey County City Administrators, David Twa, Ramsey County Administrator, <br />and Scott Williams, Director of the Consolidated Dispatch Center, provided an <br />update regarding the dispatch center. They indicated that, although the dispatch <br />center is experiencing growing pains, the center is operating well. The center is not <br />yet fully staffed. Full staffing is a total of 114. The current staffing is 1 04. The <br />Sheriff believes the call-takers should be located closer to the dispatchers. David <br />Twa indicated that it is premature to make substantial changes to the operation <br />
