<br />PROJECT MEETINGS <br />The Consultant should anticipate a kick-off meeting with City staff, followed by monthly project <br />update meetings through final design. The Project Engineer should meet with the City prior to <br />the public information meetings to go over the format and requirements of these meetings. The <br />Project Engineer and Construction Observer should also attend the pre-construction meeting. <br />During construction the Project Engineer and Construction Observer should coordinate weekly <br />meetings with the Contractor and City. <br /> <br />PUBLIC MEETINGS <br />One to two public information meetings will be held with property owners located within the <br />project area. These meetings will be an opportunity for the owners to comment on the design at <br />the preliminary and final stages. The public information meetings will be held in the evenings. <br />Three City Council meetings should also be included in the scope (Present Feasibility Report, <br />Public Improvement Hearing, Assessment Hearing). <br /> <br />CITY RESPONSffiILITIES <br />The City will perform the following functions on this project: <br />1. Provide AutoCAD files with survey and preliminary design to date <br />2. Provide a sample Feasibility Report previously completed by the City of Arden Hills <br />3. Provide sample plans previously completed by the City of Arden Hills <br />4. Provide soil boring and pavement section recommendation <br />5. Submit completed permit applications along with corresponding fees <br />6. Provide existing as-built information <br /> <br />PROPOSAL CONTENTS <br />The proposals should include a project scope, project understanding, schedule, proposed design <br />team, a cost breakdown including hours budgeted to each task and hourly rates. If reSUllles of <br />staff on the proposed design team were not submitted with the Statement of Qualifications, June <br />2007, please provide with the proposaL Please include sub-total hours and costs for each of the <br />major tasks: Feasibility Report, Design/Bid and Construction. The Consultant shall provide a not- <br />to-exceed total cost for the proposed project services. <br /> <br />Please provide three copies of the proposal in letter format (not bound or laminated) by 4:00 P.M. <br />Thursday, August 21, 2008. In an effort to save paper, please make double-sided copies and be <br />concise with your response.
