<br />Current Physical Conditions <br /> <br />There are three banks located along <br />County Road E. <br /> <br />Corporate Express is a large office <br />supplies company on the northern <br />end of the study area that generates <br />traffic by heavy trucks. <br /> <br />County Road E has four travel lanes <br />and a shared center turn lane. <br /> <br />Bicycling along County Road E is <br />difficult and dangerous because <br />there are no striped cycling lanes <br />nor a wide curb lane. <br /> <br />Sidewalks exist along only about <br />three-quarters of the County Road E <br />frontage. Crossing intersections <br />and driveways is hazardous <br />because of the many fast-moving <br />autos making turns. <br /> <br />Minnesota Highway 51, sometimes <br />known in this vicinity as Hamline <br />Avenue or Snelling Avenue, forms <br />the western boundary of the study <br />area. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2-8 Guiding Plan for the B2 District <br /> <br />20 October <br />
