<br />Goals: PTRC <br /> <br />1. Recommend actions that advance the vision for parks, trails, and recreation. <br />2. Recommend ongoing financing methods for parks and trails that replace park <br />dedication fees. <br />3 . Assist/Advise in the development of a parks and trails plan for TCAAP. <br />4. Establish a design and plan for trail signage for the Elmer L. Andersen Memorial <br />trail, including recommendations on sign locations for all City trails in the future. <br />5. Establish an implementation plan for the addition of benches in parks and along <br />trails where needed. <br />6. Review the CP Rail bridge and trail report and recommend trail location for the <br />future. <br />7. Review the Valentine Park drainage report and recommend future improvements. <br />8. Begin to brainstorm ideas for an annual festival for the City and attempt to form a <br />subcommittee to begin planning toward a future event. <br /> <br />Goals: EDC <br /> <br />1. Identify locations for gateway signs, obtain cost information, and build gateway <br />SlgnS~ <br />2. Update the business contact list on a regular basis <br />3. Divide the City into business contact areas for each of the EDC members to <br />actively build relationships with businesses. Work to obtain: <br />4. Vacancy information and rental rates <br />5. Identify maj or landlords and real estate brokers <br />6. Identify business needs <br />7. Prepare welcome packets for new businesses and business recognition programs <br />8. Recognize local businesses in the newsletter <br />9. Identify funding sources for EDC activities (including City budget and other <br />outside grant or funding opportunities) <br />10. Assist the City Council with a discussion on the potential businesses for the <br />TCAAP property <br />11. Prepare a Red Fox/Grey Fox Guiding Plan <br />
