<br />Since the cUrrent licenses expire on December 31, 2008, staff would recommend that the Council <br />approve these licenses contingent on the City receiving appropriate findings on the background <br />checks from the County Sheriff. This would allow staff to process these licenses which still need <br />to go to the State for approval before they can be issued. <br /> <br />Recommended Action: <br />Motion by the City Council to approVe the 2009 liquor license applications contingent on <br />receiving acceptable background checks necessary for obtaining these license renewals. <br />
