<br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />April 27, 2009 <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br />Mayor and City Council <br />Ron Moorse, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />Employee Recognition Committee <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />2008 Employee of the Year <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The Employee Recognition Committee, consisting of Sonja Klingberg, Becky Brazys, Greg <br />Hoag, Pete Saxe, Michelle Olson and Sherri Eisenbraun, prepared and circulated ballots to each <br />City employee to give them the opportunity to nominate a City employee for Employee of the <br />Year. Each nomination had to be related to Exceptional Performance and Significant <br />Accomplishment. <br /> <br />On April 16, 2009, the Employee Recognition Committee met and reviewed the submitted <br />nominations. Based on the number of votes and the criteria submitted, the Committee agreed <br />that Joe Rueb be named the 2008 Employee of the Year. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDED COUNCIL ACTION <br /> <br />City Council is requested to announce the selection of Joe Rueb as the 2008 Employee of the <br />Year. <br /> <br />\\Metro-inet\ardenhills\Admin\Council\Agendas & Packet Information\2009\04-27-09 Regular\Packet Information\2.C Employee of the Year <br />Memo.doc <br />
