<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - November 10, 2008 <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br />7. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Motion to Adopt a Resolution Certifyinl! the 2008 Municipal Election <br />Canvass Results <br /> <br />City Administrator Moorse stated that this resolution was to certify the City <br />Council race results. <br /> <br />MOTION: Mayor Harpstead moved and Council member Holden seconded a <br />motion to Adopt a Resolution CertifYing the 2008 Municipal Election <br />Canvass Results. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />8. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />9. COUNCIL COMMENtS AND REQUESTS <br /> <br />Councilmember McClung congratulated Councilmember Holden and <br />Councilmember Grant on being re-elected to the City Council. He also thanked the <br />City Staff and the election judges for their hard work during the election. <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead stated that the Ramsey County Maintenance Facility that was <br />used for precinct 4 worked out well. <br /> <br />CounciImember Holden asked if the City would incur any of the costs of the <br />recount in the senate race. <br /> <br />City Administrator Moorse stated that this is at the County level and the City has <br />sent their ballots to the County. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />MOTION: CounciImember McClung moved and Mayor Harpstead seconded a <br />motion to adjoUm.
