<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - November 24, 2008 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />2. PUBLIC INQUIRlES/INFORMATIONAL <br /> <br />A. TCAAP Update <br /> <br />City Administrator Ronald Moorse stated that the next monthly conference call <br />with the Army and GSA was scheduled for Monday, November 24, 2008 but this <br />had been rescheduled to Wednesday, December 10,2008. He stated that the agenda <br />for the conference includes an update regarding the supplemental investigation, a <br />discussion of the "soft costs" credit, an update regarding the wells/piping system, <br />the status of the supplemental investigation, the status of the transfer documents, <br />and the timeline to close. He also stated that the sampling process for the <br />supplemental investigation began on November 19,2008 and the sampling will be <br />completed in approximately three weeks. <br /> <br />B. Presentation bv Kav Andrews, Executive Director, Northwest <br />Youth and Familv Services <br /> <br />Ms. Kay Andrews, President and CEO of Northwest Youth and Family Services, <br />stated that she would be retiring. She introduced Jerry Hromtka, who will be <br />replacing her as President. She stated that Mr. Hromtka would be providing the <br />update for the Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Jeremiah Hromtka, Associate Director of Northwest Youth and Family <br />Services, presented the Council with a PowerPoint presentation regarding the <br />background of the organization and the goals of Northwest Youth and Family <br />Services. He also reviewed the costs of services over the last two years. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes entered the meeting (7: 10 p.rn.). <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead asked to clarify that the figures that Mr. Hromtka was <br />referencing referred to just the Arden Hills residents. <br /> <br />Mr. Hromtka stated that the figures referenced just the Arden Hills residents. He <br />proceeded with the PowerPoint presentation clarifying how Northwest Youth and <br />Family Services contributes to the community and the Discovery Center expansion. <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead thanked Ms. Andrews for her 33 years of stewardship and <br />contributions to Northwest Youth and Family Services and the community. <br /> <br />Public <br /> <br />Mayor Harpstead opened the public inquiries/informational at 7:28 p.rn. <br />
