He stated that the railroad may decide that if they are doing repairs to one bridge they may do repairs to the bridge that goes over Snelling Avenue at the same time so that the line is only shut down once. If this happens the City may have an opportunity to partner with CP Rail. MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Grant seconded a motion to Receive the Feasibility Report for the Old Snelling Avenue/Old Highway 10 Trail. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). 8. UNFINISHED BUSINESS None. 9. COUNCIL COMMENTS AND REQUESTS Councilmember Grant stated that he had received an e-mail from City Administrator Moorse stating that the 694 expansion was pulled from the budget. City Administrator Moorse stated that the 694 expansion had been pulled from the 20 year plan. Councilmember Grant asked if this meant that the expansion of 694 from 35E and 35W would not be completed. City Administrator Moorse stated that it would not be completed in the time frame that they had originally planned. He stated that Arden Hills should get together with the other cities that are affected by this decision. Councilmember Grant stated that the presentations by Bolton & Menk were appreciated and well put together. Councilmember Holmes thanked Public Works Director Hoag for his assistance at Valentine Park. She asked if there had been anything set up with Representative Kate Knuth or Senator Chaudhary at this time. City Administrator Moorse stated that Representative Kate Knuth will be attending the December 15, 2008 work session and Senator Chaudhary would be invited to attend a work session in January. He also stated that when Representative Knuth was at the work session it would be a good time to bring up the 694 expansion project.
