The proposal is for a 1,800 square foot addition to the south side of the
Ramsey County Sherriff Patrol Station.
2. The additional is to create space for a new Disaster Recovery Computer
Center.
3. The recovery center would not require any additional employees on site.
4. The addition would maintain the same height and design as the existing
Ramsey County Sherriff Patrol Station.
5. Public uses are a conditional use in the Civic Center District.
6. The Ramsey County Public Works Facility was approved through a CUP
(PC# 03-008).
7. The Ramsey County Sherriff Patrol Station was approved through a CUP
Amendment (PC# 03-026).
8. An amendment to the CUP is required because of the proposed exterior
modifications to the building and site.
9. No new rooftop mechanical equipment would be added as part of the
proposal.
12. The proposal will not affect the amount of parking on the site.
13. The proposal is not expected to have any affect on traffic to the site or on-site
traffic circulation.

On the Conditional Use Permit Evaluation Criteria:
14. The proposed plan would not have any expected impact on traffic or parking
conditions.
15. The proposed plan will not produce any permanent noise, glare, odors,
vibration, smoke, dust, air pollution, heat, liquid or solid waste, and other
nuisance characteristics.
16. The proposed plan will not impact drainage because the drainage is not being
altered.
17. The proposed plan will not impact population density because the proposed
use is not residential.
18.
