Park dedications are not applicable. <br />20. The proposed plan does not conflict with the general purpose and intent of the <br />Zoning Code or the Comprehensive Plan for the City. <br /> <br />Ms. Beekman provided background, described the project, and stated that, based <br />on the findings, the Staff recommends approval of Planning Case #09-010 for a <br />Conditional Use Permit at 1411 Paul Kirkwold Drive, subject to the following <br />three conditions: <br />1. The project shall be completed in accordance with the plans submitted as <br />amended by the conditions of approval. Any significant changes to these <br />plans, as determined by the City Planner, shall require review and approval by <br />the Planning Commission and City Council. <br />2. A Conditional Use Permit Amendment drafted by the City Attorney shall be <br />signed by the applicant, and the property owner, prior to the issuance of any <br />building permits. <br />3. A building permit shall be obtained for all proposed building and site <br />alterations. <br /> <br />Ms. Beekman stated that, if approved by the Planning Commission, this would go <br />before the City Council at their meeting on July 13, 2009. <br /> <br />Chair Larson inquired whether the Planning Commission had any questions of <br />staff. None did. <br /> <br />Chair Larson opened the Public Hearing at 6:42 p.m. <br /> <br />There being no public input, Chair Larson closed the Public Hearing at 6:43 p.m. <br /> <br />Chair Larson invited Mr. Thompson, Assistant Director for Ramsey County <br />Property Management, to approach the podium to answer any questions raised by <br />the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman inquired whether the emergency data center, which <br />would normally not be occupied unless there was an emergency, act as the <br />County's command center in the event of an emergency? <br /> <br />Mr. Thompson replied that it would not. He stated that in the event of a wide <br />spread emergency other parts of the Public Works Facility building have been <br />designed to be the command center. <br /> <br />Commissioner Holewa inquired as to the adequacy of parking on site in the event <br />of a wide spread emergency. <br />
