<br />Mr. Thompson replied that in that event, other Public Works activities would be <br />suspended and therefore would vacate much of the required parking areas. <br /> <br />Commissioner Thompson inquired whether the vacated portion of the building <br />that would be relocated to the new addition would open up space for additional <br />office. <br /> <br />Mr. Thompson stated that some office space will actually be moved into the <br />addition and the vacated portion of the building would be used to house the <br />emergency data recovery center. He noted that the proximity to the Sherriff <br />Station and its location internal to the building made it an ideal place because of <br />security concerns. He stated that no additional office space would be created due <br />to the addition. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holewa, seconded by Commissioner Modesette, to <br />approve Planning Case 09-010 for a Conditional Use Permit Amendment to <br />construct a 1,800 square foot addition at 1411 Paul Kirkwold Drive, based on the <br />findings of fact, submitted plans and the three conditions in the July 8, 2009, <br />Planning Report. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (7-0). <br />
