The motion carried <br /> unanimously (5-0). <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Grant <br /> seconded a motion to amend Recommendation 6 to: "The sign standard <br /> adjustment shall expire upon the implementation of any new <br /> monument sign on the site or within two years of the date of issuance, <br /> whichever comes first." <br /> Councilmember Holmes stated that she does not agree with this. There are <br /> currently two monument signs for this property and the tenants are saying the <br /> location of these is ineffective. The recommendation should clarify the monument <br /> sign on entrance on County Road E. <br /> Councilmember Holden stated that the entrance to this property would be <br /> changing as the area is redeveloped. <br /> Councilmember Holmes stated it would be the entrance on County Road E. <br /> Mayor Harpstead stated that he would agree with Councilmember Holden in that <br /> direction is given for them to address the monument sign locations early in the <br /> process. <br /> Councilmember Holmes withdrew her suggestion. <br /> The motion to amend Recommendation 6 was called to a vote. The motion carried <br /> unanimously (5-0). <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember Holden <br /> seconded a motion to add Recommendation 8: If the Site Plan is <br /> violated more than twice the agreement will be void. <br /> Community Development Director James Lehnhoff suggested that if the <br /> provisions of this sign standard adjustment are violated more than two times the <br /> City Council may revoke the sign standard adjustment. <br />
