She explained that the regulation would read that no <br />more than one would be allowed in a residential district. <br /> <br />Chair Larson thought that an application had been reviewed in the past for that <br />type of tower or antennae. <br /> <br />Mr. Gonzalez referenced the FCC standards and thought that the regulations <br />should be reviewed prior to approval. <br /> <br />Chair Larson advised that the Planning Commission is a recommending body and <br />can direct staff to review those regulations prior to the review of the Council. <br /> <br />Chair Larson closed the public hearing at 7:17 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Reiff moved, seconded by Commissioner Holewa, to recommend <br />approval of Planning Case 09-014, to amend sections 1305.04 and 1325.09 of the <br />Zoning Code regarding antennas, and towers as presented in staffs July 8, 2009 <br />report. <br /> <br />Further discussion: <br /> <br />Commissioner Reiff moved, seconded by Commissioner Holewa, to request an <br />amendment to subdivision six, paragraph b, sub 1 to add the civic center district to <br />industrial and business districts. <br /> <br />The Commission directed staff to include an exemption for personal television <br />reception antennae. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (7-0). <br /> <br />Chair Larson directed staff to review the FCC regulation to ensure the ordinance <br />would be in agreement. <br />
