<br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL - June 29, 2009 <br /> <br />15 <br /> <br />School Project is being combined with the Perry Park Project. The schedule is <br />tentatively set for construction in the spring of 20 10. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden asked when the estimated completion date was. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Manager Olson stated that it was estimated to be <br />completed by mid-June 2010. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant asked if all the funding and grants had been approved and <br />these funds would extend into 201 O. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Manager Olson stated that this was correct. Staff had met <br />with Mn/DOT and everything is moving forward. <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant asked if this project would include a 100-year flood plan <br />proof culvert. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Manager Olson stated that this culvert will be designed to <br />meet all DNR wetland requirements. <br /> <br />Councilmember Holmes stated that the culvert had not been engineered yet. <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation Manager Olson stated that this culvert was in the process <br />of being engineered at this time. <br /> <br />MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Grant <br />seconded a motion to Accept the Donation of $10,000 from Boston <br />Scientific for the Safe Routes to School Project. The motion carried <br />unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />Councilmember Holden directed staff to send a Thank You card and Certificate to <br />Boston Scientific for their generous donation. <br /> <br />C.
