PARKS,TRAILS AND RECREATION COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES <br /> June 16,2009 <br /> Page 6 of 6 <br /> Ms. Olson further reviewed the priorities of Arden Hills along with the goals for New Brighton. <br /> She noted New Brighton would like to continue communications between the cities to <br /> collaborate on future regional trails, with connections to Long Lake. <br /> F. Park Tour Date <br /> Ms. Olson stated the July meeting was an all city committee barbe4 ue, which will be held at <br /> Cummings Park. She indicated this would be a time to gather and provide updates on each <br /> g p p <br /> committee. Ms. Olson noted the committees typically g take August off but was open to hold a <br /> meeting for the park tour before the September meeting. <br /> Mr. Messerly suggested the meeting be held on a Saturday morning. Chair Peck was in <br /> agreement with this suggestion. Ms. Olson indicated she would have a bus for the tour to allow <br /> all committee members to participate. <br /> The Committee decided to hold the park tour in mid August on a Saturday morning. Ms. Olson <br /> stated she would begin pulling together the information needed and report back to the Committee <br /> members with a date of the park tour. <br /> 5. REPORTS <br /> A. Report from the City Council <br /> There was nothing additional at this time. <br /> B. Parks and Recreation/Public Works Update <br /> There was nothing additional at this time. <br /> C. Parks Trails and Recreation Committee Comments and Requests <br /> There was nothing additional at this time. <br /> 6.
