AR-DEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—December 14, 2009 9 SC. Authorization to Lease a RISO HC5500 Color Printer (continued) Councilmember Holden asked what the cost of the ink cartridges were and how many prints could be obtained per cartridge. Finance Director Iverson stated there would be no limit on the number of pages printed per year and the cost of the cartridges would be less than what the City is currently paying for printing costs. Mayor Harpstead clarified that other departments and Staff members would be using this printer as well. He asked if other departments were in favor of this printer and felt this was the best machine to meet their needs. Finance Director Iverson stated that this machine was the one that would make sense but there had been no analysis on what other departments felt would be the best machine. MOTION: Councilmember Holden moved and Councilmember Grant seconded a motion to Authorize Staff to Enter into a Lease Agreement with Pitney Bowes to Lease a RISO HC5500 Document Printer at a Cost of$511 Per Month. Councilmember McClung stated he would not vote in favor of this motion at this time because he had not seen enough analysis to determine this would be the best fit for the City. Councilmember Grant stated he would support this motion at this time but for future lease agreements he would like to see more analysis provided to the Council. Councilmember Holmes stated it is important for the City to have a color printer and would support this motion at this time. Councilmember Holden asked how often the City needs to have color copies. Finance Director Iverson stated a couple of examples would be for maps for the City Council and engineers and for the City's budget books. Councilmember Grant asked how long the offer was good for. Finance Director Iverson stated the offer was good until December 23, 2009.
