Ordinance 2010-004 <br />towers, tree houses, swimming pools, playhouses exceeding twenty-five (25) square feet <br />of floor area, or sheds utilized for storage of equipment. <br />Subd. 142 Recreational Vehicles (RVs). Vehicles for recreational or utilitarian uses that <br />can be driven, towed, or hauled. Including, but not limited to, motor homes and travel <br />trailers, snowmobiles, pull campers, all terrain vehicles (ATVs), tent trailers, or other <br />similar vehicles. Revised February 7, 2008. <br />Subd. 143 Recreational Vehicles, Utility Trailers, Riding Lawn Mowers, and Watercraft, <br />Height. The distance as measured from the ground to the highest point of the recreational <br />vehicle, utility trailer, or watercraft, including any covering, as stored. This does not <br />including antennas and utility/mechanical systems provided they are accessory and take <br />up no more than ten (10) percent of the roof surface area. RVs and watercraft on a trailer <br />shall be measured as one. Revised February 7, 2008. <br />Subd. 144 Recreational Vehicles, Utility Trailers, Riding Lawn Mowers, and Watercraft, <br />Length. The distance as measured from end to end of the recreational vehicle, utility <br />trailer, or watercraft, including any hitch, motor, and covering, as stored. A flood which is representative of large flood known to have <br />occurred generally in Minnesota and reasonably characteristic of what can be expected to <br />occur on an average frequency in the magnitude of the 100-year recurrence interval. <br />Regional flood is synonymous with the term "base flood" used in the Flood Insurance <br />Study. <br />Subd. 146 Research. The use of any lot, parcel of land and any structure or building <br />located thereon for the purposes of studying or investigating facts not readily available, <br />such as, for example, medical, chemical, electrical, metallurgical, or other scientific <br />research, but excluding the manufacture or processing of materials or goods for sale. Re- <br />search with animals is considered a separate category. <br />Subd. 147 Research animals. Animals kept in a laboratory setting for the purpose of <br />testing and research related health care products. <br />Subd. 148 Residential facility. Any facility, public or private, which for gain or <br />otherwise, regularly provides one or more persons with a twenty-four (24) hours per day <br />substitute for care, food, lodging, training, education, supervision, habilitation, <br />
