ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL—March 8, 2010 26 <br /> 7.E. Adopt Resolution 2010-014, a Resolution Establishing a Personnel Committee for the City <br /> of Arden Hills (continued) <br /> Mayor Harpstead stated he would also be willing to volunteer for this Committee. He asked for <br /> recommendations for the Staff representative for the Committee. <br /> Councilmember Holden suggested Finance Director Sue Iverson. <br /> Mayor Harpstead asked if there would be any objections from the Council for this appointment. <br /> Councilmember Grant stated he would be willing to volunteer for this Committee as well and he <br /> would like to have the record reflect that he volunteered for this Committee. <br /> MOTION: Mayor Harpstead moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a motion to <br /> Adopt Resolution 2010-014, a Resolution Establishing a Personnel Committee <br /> for the City of Arden Hills and Appointing Mayor Harpstead and <br /> Councilmember Holden as the Council members and Finance Director <br /> Iverson as the Staff member for the Committee. <br /> Mayor Harpstead suggested that Councilmember Grant be appointed as an alternate <br /> Councilmember in the event the he or Councilmember Holden could not attend. <br /> Councilmember Grant stated in order to have continuity in the Committee there should not be an <br /> alternate appointed at this time. <br /> The motion was called to a vote. <br /> The motion carried unanimously(5-0). <br /> 8. UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> None. <br /> 9. COUNCIL COMMENTS AND REQUESTS <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Holmes moved and Councilmember Holden seconded a <br /> motion to adjourn. The motion carried (4-1). <br /> Ayes: Mayor Harpstead, Councilmembers Holmes, Grant, Holden <br /> Nays: Councilmember McClung <br /> Mayor Harpstead adjourned the Regular City Council Meeting meeti -0:30 p.m. <br /> Susan K.
