The
property is zoned B-1 and contains 191 acres.
The proposed facility entails co-locating a wireless communications facility on the
relatively new Brushaber Commons building that is centrally located within the
Bethel University Campus. (Please see attached Exhibit 3). This site location
allows the nearby mature trees to the north, east & west to substantially screen the
facility from off-site view. The nearest property line to the wireless facility is the
Hamline Avenue North Right of Way line which is approximately 1000' to the
east of the site.
The wireless facility generally consists of two roof mounted antenna assemblies
and a ground mounted 10' x 16' equipment shelter. The antenna assemblies are
proposed to be mounted on the roof on top of an expanded HVAC screen-wall.
The ground equipment shelter is proposed to be located at the north end of
Brushaber Commons. The shelter will have a brick exterior to match Brushaber
Commons and is designed aesthetically to appear as though it is a planned part of
the existing building. (Please see photo-simulations attached as Exhibit 4).
